A 3 month old male cat was brought in the APC-Riyadh branch due to popping out of the right eye. According to the owner, the eye got infected two weeks ago. The kitten started scratching his eyes, became swollen and reddish in color. He didn’t give any eye topical medications.

Upon physical examinations, the right eye was severely infected, swollen and already have pus. The cornea was also ulcerated. The possible cause of this was trauma and/or injury. Other vital signs were normal, temperature 38.1 degree Celcius and he was hydrated.

Treatment was removal of the right eye or also called Eye enucleation. Antibiotic injection was given for 7 days medication.
